Dear Maine Employer,
We are asking for your support in completing an important survey for Maine-based company leaders in the manufacturing sector. This is part of a larger effort to understand workforce needs and opportunities in the industry.
Project Goal: Maine’s Forest Bioproducts Advanced Manufacturing Tech Hub – an industry partnership home to researchers, workers, firms, government agencies, and other partners – is conducting research to guide the future of Maine’s advanced manufacturing workforce. The results from the survey you complete will help create a talent roadmap that shows what jobs and skills are needed, what training is available, and what challenges exist. The roadmap will guide future efforts to strengthen Maine’s manufacturing sector and keep it competitive.
Why Your Input Matters: The results of this survey will contribute to a talent roadmap that will guide future workforce development initiatives across the advanced manufacturing industry. By providing insights on current and future workforce needs, emerging skills, and certification requirements, your feedback will help ensure Maine remains competitive in advanced manufacturing.
Who Should Respond: We encourage responses from company leaders, human resources managers, or workforce development specialists who understand your company’s workforce needs and skill requirements. If you are in company leadership and are able to deploy this to workers throughout your company, it would help us understand current worker needs. They can use the same survey link!
Survey Details: The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and you will see within the survey that you can indicate if you are able to meet with us for 1:1 conversations to talk more about the sector’s workforce needs. Your responses will directly support efforts to strengthen Maine’s workforce and prepare for the future. Please share your thoughts and help guide Maine’s Manufacturing future by December 1, 2024! Take the survey: https://sprw.io/stt-6VD5P.
Thank you for your support of this important initiative!
