Dear Supporter of Campaign for Better Transport,

As we approach the festive season perhaps, like me, you will be taking a train to visit family and friends, or welcoming visitors who have travelled by train to see you.

For some, a train journey is not possible. Sadly, for too many, unreliable, costly or inaccessible transport poses a barrier rather than a bridge. But together, we can change that.

Can you help to connect more people to each other and donate to Campaign for Better Transport today ([link removed]) ?
Yes, I can donate ([link removed])
At Campaign for Better Transport, we work to bring people together. And that is why our work is so important. Because we need more connections to make trips by public transport cheaper, reliable and the first choice for travel.

I catch the train several times a week, to get to the office and back or to travel to meetings and events. When I am on my way to meet loved ones during the festive period, my journeys are extra special.

At times like these, I find myself wondering where my fellow passengers are off to. Are they visiting their mother, maybe their son, or a granddaughter? Of course, I do not know, but I feel a sense of community with the people on my train.

Do you have a journey that is of special significance to you?

Do you have a journey where you notice more detail, where you feel more connected to your fellow travellers?

Can you donate and help ensure everyone has the opportunity to take the journeys that are important to them?
Yes, I can donate ([link removed])
I hope you agree with me that public transport is excellent when it works. It truly brings us together.

Good public transport puts jobs within reach. It provides access to healthcare. It helps people gain an education. It protects the environment because when journeys are made by public, rather than private transport they lower carbon emissions and put fewer vehicles on roads.

I appreciate times are tough for some right now, and you may not be able to donate, but if you can, please do. We are entirely funded by voluntary donations, so your support is a vital part of how we exist and campaign.

Together we can create a future where everyone has access to regular, reliable and affordable transport that meets their needs.

Can you help to campaign for better transport and donate today?
Yes, I can donate ([link removed])
Thank you for your support. Best wishes for the festive season ahead,
