Aloha Members of the Hawaii Republican Party,
I’m reaching out to you today with concerns a growing sense of urgency.
Many of you may have seen the news that President Biden has authorized the transfer of U.S. long-range missiles to Ukraine, reportedly allowing strikes within Russia. This decision marks a dangerous escalation, one that could draw us closer to a larger and potentially devastating conflict.
What’s especially concerning is the timing of this decision. The Biden Administration’s actions seem to heighten conflict rather than work toward resolution, leaving us to question whether this leadership is capable of achieving meaningful peace. This only underscores why America needs President Trump back in office now more than ever. Under his leadership, the United States was respected, and we avoided these kinds of reckless entanglements.
Supporting our allies and standing against tyranny are core American values, but decisions like this require thoughtful diplomacy and clear strategic vision. Instead, we’re seeing reactive measures that could have far reaching consequences…not just for our nation but for global stability. For Hawaii, as a critical strategic location in the Pacific, we need to be aware of the possibilities and be prepared of what is going on in our world when it comes to conflict.
As Republicans, we know the importance of peace through strength. President Trump embodied that principle, keeping us out of new wars while maintaining America’s global leadership. The Biden Administration’s approach not only puts American lives at risk but also highlights its inability to effectively manage or resolve conflicts.
This is a moment that demands action from all of us. I encourage you to stay informed and engaged. Reach out to your Congressional representatives and demand transparency about the administration’s goals. As taxpayers and patriots, we have every right to ask tough questions about the implications of these decisions for our state and nation’s safety and stability.
We must also stay focused on building a stronger, united Republican Party. This is our opportunity to show that we stand for leadership that prioritizes the well being of the American people and a vision for lasting peace.
Lastly, let’s remember the power of prayer and unity. Pray for our leaders to act with wisdom and for peace to prevail. Pray for our troops, the innocent lives affected by these decisions, and for America to find its way back to strong, steady leadership.
These are challenging times, but I believe in the resilience of our party, our people and our nation. Together, we can help pave the way for better days ahead. Come together with your neighbors and set aside petty differences as we may find that we will need to rely on each other in trying circumstances. Let’s pray that war will end and peace will prevail.
Mahalo for your commitment to our shared values and for standing together, united.
With Aloha,
Tamara McKay
