Taxpayer, you worked hard to save these cats.
You signed petitions. You made calls. And you donated. So, for Veterans Day, I
made this new victory video

A White Coat Waste (WCW) investigation uncovered how the U.S. Dept. of Veterans
Affairs (VA) abused and killed thousands of cats in laboratories .
For over 65 years— since the Eisenhower Administration —this wasteful government program was funded on your tax dime.
Until you and I ENDED it.

Victory video for Taxpayer
The VA purchased kittens from Envigo-style dealers. Its labs ghoulishly targeted
“playful” and “friendly” specimens.
6-months-old. Seizures. Suffocation. Spinal cords severed. Chemicals rammed into
their anus.
One cat named Pongo suffered so badly that even “depression” was noted in his
records.
We launched a Freedom of Information Act investigation. We sued the VA to get this heart-breaking footage
[[link removed]] .
[[link removed]] And we exposed it on front-page headlines like this:
“The Veterans Administration is doing things to cats that would land an
individual in JAIL , and you're paying for it.” — Nevada Current
We ran billboards, TV, and online ads to 4M+ taxpayers. We drove over 2,000
phone calls and 338,000 letters from pet owners to the White House. We united
bipartisan legislators to de-fund it.
And… we won

Our multi-year campaign shut down every single cat lab at the VA: Los Angeles
(‘21), Cleveland (‘21), Louisville (’22), and the “Stokes 7” (’24). We ended its
dog labs, too (’22).
First, we ended kitten testing at the USDA (’19) — the fed’s #1 feline lab. Now,
we’ve laid waste to the VA.

That’s not all. We also won the 1st-ever federal policy to retire and release
lab survivors (’18). Today, dogs and cats from the VA have been adopted as pets.
Taxpayer, this landmark effort has ended the culture of
losing.
No other animal protection group had shut down any federal feline labs in at
least 40 years!
Happy Veterans Day, Taxpayer. And thank YOU for waging
the most effective campaign

You Give. We Win. They Survive.

P.S. Artemis. Odie. Andy. Oreo. Copper. And thousands of nameless victims like Govt ID #16039… the VA crippled these
kittens. But our campaign BROKE the BACK of the VA.
Taxpayer, watch how you + WCW made it happen. Here’s your secure video link.
