John,
Good afternoon, and welcome to our
Weekend Update.
It was great to hear from President-Elect
Donald J. Trump on Wednesday as he joined House Republicans to outline
his plan to get our country back on track. From securing the border to
growing our economy and restoring energy dominance, his agenda is what
is needed to Make America Great Again. I look forward to working with
the President and my colleagues to deliver for the American
people.
President Trump’s America-First agenda
lays the foundation: revitalizing U.S. manufacturing, increasing
production, and growing our taxpayer base—not our tax burden. These
are the policies small businesses across America are counting on, with
permanent tax cuts, reduced regulation, and lower energy costs under
the next administration. After three terms in Congress, I’ve seen how
bureaucratic red tape can restrict access to capital, limit resources,
and slow business growth.
President Trump has the plan; Congress
and the Fed must give him the economic tools to deliver his promises
to the American people. I joined "Mornings with Maria" on Fox Business
to discuss. Click

This week, the House Republican
Caucus held leadership elections. Congratulations to Speaker Mike Johnson,
Leader Congressman Steve Scalise, Whip
Congressman Tom Emmer, and
newly-elected House
Republicans Conference Chair Representative Lisa
McClain. I'm looking forward to working
with this team to advance an America-First agenda in the House that
delivers on President-Elect Trump’s policy initiatives.
Check out my recent interview on "The
Volpe Report." We discussed President Trump’s historic election, his
policy agenda to Make America Great Again, and more! Click

I had a great conversation with Rich Zeoli on " Fox Across America with Jimmy
Failla." We discussed the issues facing our
nation and the path forward under unified Republican leadership,
including tackling border security, combating inflation, and restoring
economic prosperity with President-Elect Trump's America First agenda.
From reducing excessive spending to unleashing American energy and
saving the Trump Tax Cuts, the House GOP is focused on delivering
results for hardworking Americans. Click

Dave McCormick will be sworn in as
Pennsylvania's next United States Senator.
His 30,000-vote lead is insurmountable.
There is no mathematical possibility that a recount will change the
election results. Bob Casey should do the right thing and concede. He
cannot win; the recount will cost PA taxpayers more than a million
dollars. I joined Newsmax's "National Report" to discuss
Senator-elect McCormick's victory. Click
here or below to watch.
Outrageously, the Democratic machine is
working overtime to change the rules and manufacture more votes. This
week, a Democrat Bucks County Commissioner openly admits to violating
state law by counting undated ballots, blatantly disregarding the PA
Supreme Court's clear ruling. Her excuse? She doesn't care because
"precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country, and
people violate laws anytime they want.” This isn’t just arrogance—it’s
an attack on the rule of law and the integrity of our elections. Call
the Bucks County Commissioners and tell them to follow the law! (215)

We had so many great victories on
Election Day. One of the significant victories was Dave Sunday winning
back control of the Attorney General's role. Congratulations to Dave,
and I am confident he will do an excellent job for the people of
Pennsylvania.
IN NEWS YOU WON’T HEAR IN THE
MAINSTREAM MEDIA: President Trump won the 2024 presidential
election with a historic mandate. As the first Republican to win the
popular vote in two decades, President Trump did so by stitching
together the broadest, most diverse coalition in modern history.
"The breadth of improvement
that Donald Trump had — Holy Toledo! ... No matter where you looked,
Donald Trump was improving on where he did four years
ago," said
CNN's Harry Enten.

Here's what you need to
know:
- President Trump gained support in 49 states and the District of
Columbia over 2020 — the biggest party gain since 1992.
- President Trump had the best Republican showing among
18-29-year-olds since 2004, among Black voters since 1976, and among
Hispanic voters since at least 1972.
- President Trump aided House Republicans in their best popular vote
showing since 1928.
It was a resounding victory — a shift
that highlights President Trump's connection with American voters and
the trust he has earned by fighting for them. The results were
undoubtedly - TOO BIG TO RIG.
This is why, beginning on Day One,
President Trump will be better positioned than ever to undo the damage
of the past four years and deliver results for the American
people.
President Trump is already laying
the groundwork for the Great American Comeback, which will begin on
January 20, 2025.
The inauguration is not far away, and I
cannot wait to attend the swearing-in ceremony for President-elect
Donald J. Trump.
This week, President Trump has begun
unveiling more appointments and hires... the team executing his plan.

It was a pleasure to join BAPS and a host
of Indian-American organizations on Capitol Hill to celebrate Diwali
and the Hindu New Year. Over a billion people celebrate Diwali, which
symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and promotes the values of
faith, family, and community.
We attended the Spirit of Hope
Celebration on Friday evening, which raised money for the Northeast
Regional Cancer Institute’s Patient Navigation Program. This program
helps low-income individuals in Northeast Pennsylvania access direct
cancer-related healthcare services.
Yesterday morning was beautiful and
perfect for bow hunting with my son Danny, but we had no
luck.
I did take a break from hunting to
attend the Luzerne County GOP's volunteer appreciation event at Wilkes
Barre Township Fire House. (Shelley and I pictured below with TJ
and MAGA Boyz)
Additionally, our great friend Bob Bolus join me for a media
interview. Bob and his trucks have been everywhere in support of
President Trump.
Last but certainly not least, I was happy to welcome Scott Pressler
of Early Vote Action to my office in Washington, D.C. Scott was
a driving force in registering 500,000 new Republicans and new
registrants, motivating them to vote in this past election. Scott and
his team played a pivotal role in President-Elect Trump’s victory.
After discussing this with Scott, I am committed to working with him
to continue the momentum built in Pennsylvania.
God Bless our great nation, God Bless our
Republican Party, and God Bless President Donald J. Trump. I look
forward to seeing you soon,
Dan
