Memphis-Midsouth DSA
Hello comrade,
I’m excited to share the minutes from our Annual Assembly, along with slides from the State of the Chapter report (linked here and below).
I want to also take a moment to celebrate what a milestone this meeting was for our chapter.
We had 30+ members in attendance, including many newly involved comrades, united by a shared drive to protect the vulnerable, build our institutions, and organize for power.
Momentum is already building. The very next day, 15+ members met to begin work on one of our priorities for the coming year: Mutual Aid.
This surge is not isolated. As of November 8, national DSA had grown by over 3,000 members, and locally, we’ve seen a 10% increase in membership. These numbers highlight what we already know: we are stronger together.
If you haven’t reconnected with the chapter yet, now is the time. Together, we can prepare for the difficult realities ahead and build a foundation for collective power.
Right now is a time to be proud socialists; together, we stand with the people.
More updates on ways to get involved and upcoming events will follow soon. Let’s keep this momentum going.
In solidarity,
Liam Wright
