Hezbollah continued to bombard Israeli cities and towns with rocket and drone fire over the weekend. More than 80 rockets were launched by the terror group into Israel yesterday alone.
One Hezbollah rocket that evaded Israel's aerial defenses crashed into a synagogue in Haifa, causing major destruction to the building shortly after Israelis had been praying there for Shabbat. Thankfully, the synagogue was empty when the attack took place.
The IDF carried out multiple waves of strikes against Hezbollah strongholds throughout Lebanon, including in the Beirut suburb of Dahieh where the terror group's leadership and infrastructure are systematically embedded among Lebanese civilians.
Hezbollah's media chief Mohammad Afif, who claimed responsibility for targeting Prime Minister Netanyahu's home in the terror group's drone attack last month, was reportedly eliminated in a strike in central Beirut.
Afif was hiding in a bunker in the central part of the Lebanese capital, and not in the Hezbollah stronghold in the southern suburbs, when he was targeted and killed.
The IDF released new footage this morning showing a Hezbollah weapons cache and attack tunnel being demolished by combat engineers in southern Lebanon.
As Israel continues to battle Iran-backed terrorists on multiple fronts at once, Bernie Sanders and his allies in the Senate are preparing to bring resolutions to a vote this week to block vital arms sales to Israel.
Senator Bernie Sanders is planning to force votes in the Senate this week to block critical arms sales to Israel.
Weakening Israel’s security as it’s engaged in a seven-front war against common enemies is dangerous for America and the Jewish state.

IDF continues to battle Hamas terrorists in Gaza
Israeli troops are continuing operations against Hamas terror cells in Gaza, including in the northern Gazan neighborhood of Jabaliya where the terror group has worked to rearm itself.
IDF jets struck a group of Hamas terrorists operating out of a former U.N. school in Gaza City, and eliminated a separate cell of 10 terrorists in a drone strike in Jabaliya.
“The Hamas terror organization systematically violates international law, brutally exploiting civilian institutions and the population as human shields for terror activity,” the IDF said, adding that it will continue to operate against terrorists who use civilian sites as command centers.
Defense Minister Katz: Returning the hostages is our most important goal
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said today that bringing the hostages home remains the military's top priority.
"As I defined from my first day in the role, returning the hostages home is our most important...goal," Katz said.
"Every meeting with the families of the hostages and those involved in the mission to return them fills me with more motivation, and I pledge to work together with the defense establishment in every possible way to return them home."
