John,

69 heavily pregnant cows died in unimaginable agony just weeks ago after
being trapped in cramped trucks for over a month. Some died in their own
filth – the rest were slaughtered without anesthesia.

It’s sickening. And millions of animals in the EU face this horrifying
fate every single year. We can stop it!

The EU is about to hold key meetings with national agriculture and
environment ministries and we can get animal welfare on the agenda if we
create enough public pressure. Recent bans on cruel live animal exports in
the UK and Australia mean we have a real chance at forcing the EU to
follow suit.

If enough of us chip in, we could launch tried and tested tactics like
running strategic ads to target key lawmakers, draw media attention ahead
of the meetings, and supercharge our people-powered campaigns in the EU
and beyond. Can you help stop this cruelty?

Every year in the EU, millions of living, breathing animals are crammed
into filthy, overcrowded ships to be taken to slaughterhouses abroad. They
face horrendous conditions: extreme temperatures, starvation, dehydration,
and injury, often dying in transit.

The EU is responsible for up to 80% of the global trade in live farm
animals, making it the largest exporter of live animals in the world.
Despite growing public outcry and the urgent need for reform, this mass
export of suffering continues unchecked

But there’s hope—recent bans in the UK and Australia have proven that
change is possible. What once seemed like an impossible battle is now
within reach.

Now is the time to build on this success and push Europe to follow the
UK’s lead. If we move quickly, we can turn this win into lasting change
across the continent.

By putting massive pressure on politicians in the lead-up to these
meetings, they’ll be forced to face the urgency of ending this cruelty. We
could run targeted ads, mobilize thousands of voices, and directly lobby
key EU lawmakers to make sure the ban is a priority.

John, can you chip in to help end this cruelty
and supercharge our people-powered campaigns in the EU and beyond?
