In the wake of Donald Trump’s election win and a wave of extreme cabinet nominations, I want to make this abundantly clear:

I will never stop standing up for our values, our families, and our future.

As we face the prospect of President-Elect Donald Trump and his administration pushing an extreme and divisive agenda, I remain deeply committed to protecting the progress we've made, including:

* Defending reproductive rights and protecting access to healthcare
* Preserving our public lands
* Creating more economic opportunities for working families
* Reducing the cost of prescription drugs
* Expanding health care for veterans
* Passing historic climate legislation
* Making once-in-a-generation investments in infrastructure
* Securing the most meaningful gun safety measures in three decades

Our fight to create a better, brighter future for New Mexico and our country is far from over. I will work with leaders from both parties to find common ground on the issues that matter most to New Mexicans — without compromising our core values or leaving our communities behind.

Our work for progress is year-round. If you are in this fight with me to stand up to extremism and advocate for progress, will you add your name to my petition? [[link removed]]
