Trey and Glorya from Learn with Love Episode 2.

This November, we’re proud to recognize Trans Awareness Week by sharing a new episode of “Learn with Love,” our series that invites LGBTQ+ young people from across the country to share their stories. Episode Two features Trey, a Black and trans young woman who courageously navigates coming out to her conservative mother, Glorya. Their journey toward understanding and acceptance captures the complexities and transformative power of love, even when faced with deeply held beliefs.

Check out this inspiring story demonstrating the strength and hope that can grow from affirming relationships. Trey’s experience shows us the impact of support, compassion, and the possibility of acceptance- even in the most unexpected places.
