It's Now or Never! <[link removed]>
ACLU Supporter, there is no doubt: The re-election of Donald Trump as president has immense implications for the future of our democratic norms, institutions, and processes.
The stakes couldn't be higher and that is why we are urging President Biden to do everything in his power before he leaves office to preserve our democracy and mitigate the harm vulnerable communities may experience under the second Trump administration.
Specifically, we are calling on Biden to prioritize swift and decisive actions that will: <[link removed]>
* Protect vulnerable individuals and communities who may be targeted or left behind by a Trump administration.
* Protect the public agencies, career civil servants, and other government institutions that serve the people of the United States.
* Protect democracy and safeguard voting rights, so the American people can continue to freely exercise our freedoms – most notably, the freedoms to speak, assemble, protest, and once again cast our ballots in free and fair elections.

We are counting on President Biden to do the right thing in the time he has left in office. His actions over the next two months will determine how much power President-elect Donald Trump has over our civil liberties when he takes office – so action in this moment cannot wait.
ACLU Supporter, President Biden remains the president and leader of this country until January 20 at noon. From now until that time, we must urge him to pursue all available executive actions to safeguard the long-term health of our democracy. Sign our petition now. <[link removed]>
