Federal Resistance Efforts: Resist Project 2025
Resist Project 2025 will combat the threats posed by the Trump administration and his subservient House and Senate. The campaign lays the foundation for local, state and federal-level resistance and envisions an America where democracy thrives, every vote counts equally, and courts deliver justice for all – not just the wealthy and powerful.
Our work through Resist Project 2025 focuses on three critical areas:
- Judicial Integrity: We’re pushing for the confirmation of President Biden’s remaining judicial nominees while vetting Trump’s extreme nominees and fighting against their confirmations. We’re also advocating for crucial long-term reforms, including a binding code of ethics for the Supreme Court.
- Defending Democracy: We will continue to fight for fair elections and representation for all Americans, by supporting the Freedom to Vote Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and DC Statehood, while also seeking opportunities to advance pro-voter measures at the local and state level.
- Fighting Censorship and Defending Civil Rights: We will continue to stand against attempts to silence voices and erase history through book bans, restrictions on free speech, and attacks on inclusive education. By challenging these efforts, we’ll be ensuring that all communities can speak freely, learn authentically, and advocate for their rights.

Advocating at the State and Local Levels
Resistance doesn’t just happen in Washington – it’s built in communities across the country. That’s why we’re expanding our focus to include advocacy and activism at the state and local levels, where so many decisions that affect our daily lives are made. With your support, we’ll:
