We asked and you answered: Adam and Allison both asked you to send messages to your legislators urging them to prioritize gun violence prevention in the new legislative session that starts in January, and boy did you deliver!

So many of you have sent advocacy messages telling legislators across the Commonwealth that you want to see bipartisan action to protect all of us from gun violence. Our grassroots movement is meeting the moment, and turning setbacks into action.

With all this grassroots power, I know we have a real chance to pass life-saving legislation in the upcoming legislative session. And to harness that incredible strength, I’m thrilled to announce we’re hiring two new organizers 2 : one in Bucks County to broaden and deepen our base in the collar counties, and one in the Lehigh Valley/Poconos to break new ground and take our advocacy work to the “T” of Pennsylvania!

We’re so excited to be growing our team, and laying important groundwork, even during uncertain times. With your help, we can fully fund these permanent positions and build an even larger team to take up the fight in January. If this election proved one thing, it’s that our movement is resilient, and we are here to stay. Our path to a life free from gun violence just got a little longer, and darker. But, we’re relying on you to illuminate the way forward.

We are moving full-steam ahead and planning on capitalizing our narrow House majority to pass a gun safety agenda here in PA, and counter the gun extremism we expect at the federal level.
