Pulling Back the Curtain on UAPs

We held a joint subcommittee hearing on "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth." This is the second hearing on the topic of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), further pulling back the curtain on UAP research programs conducted by the U.S. government, and undisclosed findings they have yielded. Our office stressed the need for more transparency, calling for the Department of Defense to declassify information and ensure the American people are fully informed. Watch the full hearing at Mace.House.Gov/UAP.

Demanding Action After Monkey Escape at Alpha Genesis Facility

Our office is calling for an urgent briefing from the USDA and NIH following the escape of 43 monkeys from the Alpha Genesis facility in Yemassee, SC. The incident, which left several primates unaccounted for over a week, is part of a pattern of violations at the taxpayer-funded lab. Despite receiving over $110 million in federal funding since 2008, Alpha Genesis has repeatedly failed to meet animal welfare standards, exposing both animals and the public to significant risks. We demanded a full breakdown of the facility's contracts, inspections, and actions taken to address these ongoing safety concerns. Read our full press release by clicking here or the photo above.

Statement from the Rep. Nancy Mace on President Trump's

Cabinet Picks

"We support President Trump's cabinet appointments, including his picks for key roles like Secretary of Health and Human Services, Secretary of Defense, and Director of National Intelligence. These are individuals who will prioritize the American people, defend our rights, and stand firm on issues that matter most to us.”

In the News

“In a recent congressional hearing, Rep. Nancy Mace called for transparency on government research into Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs). She raised questions about a classified Pentagon program, "Immaculate Constellation," reportedly holding detailed evidence of UAP encounters, including high-quality images and accounts of UAP-related incidents. This hearing is part of Congress’s broader push to ensure public and elected officials alike are informed on potential extraterrestrial activity.”

Rep. Nancy Mace Live on CNN Discussing Trump Cabinet Appointments

Watch as Rep. Nancy Mace joins Laura Coates live on CNN by clicking here or the video above.

“In an eye-opening two-hour congressional hearing, lawmakers heard fresh testimony on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), the term now officially used for UFOs. Witnesses highlighted increasing government efforts to conceal information about these sightings, with several calling for more transparency and oversight.”

“Rep. Mace says Alpha Genesis has a history of escapes and violations, and anonymous donors are putting up $250,000 to possibly rehome the 43 monkeys in a sanctuary. Rep. Mace, the U.S. Representative for South Carolina's 1st District, contacted the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) demanding an inquiry and briefing, calling the recent escape "the latest in a long list of violations from this USDA and NIH-funded laboratory."

Legislating for the Lowcountry:

Stop Terror-Financing and Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act (H.R. 9495)

We voted ‘Yes’ on this bill to protect U.S. citizens held hostage abroad by waiving tax penalties during their detention and refunding late fees. It also revokes the tax-exempt status of organizations supporting terrorism, helping prevent Americans’ tax dollars from indirectly funding terrorist activities.

Critical Mineral Consistency Act (H.R. 8446)

Our office voted ‘Yes’ on this bill. This legislation helps the U.S. stay competitive by making it easier to get minerals we need for technology and national security. It cuts red tape by consolidating lists from the Department of Energy and the U.S. Geological Survey.

HEATS Act (H.R. 7409)

We voted ‘Yes’ on this bill. It will cut down on federal regulations to speed up geothermal energy projects on state-owned lands. It lets states take the lead, making it easier and faster to get renewable energy projects up and running.

H.R. 8932 – FAFSA Deadline Act
Our office voted 'Yes' on the FAFSA Deadline Act (H.R. 8932), which changes the deadline for processing student aid applications from January 1 to October 1, allowing families more time to sort out financial aid. The bill also requires the Department of Education to explain to Congress if they can't meet the deadline and how it will affect students. This change aims to prevent the delays wleft students without aid offers in the past.

Sincerely,

Rep. Nancy Mace signature
