Emergency! An NIH-funded lab may imprison 15 cats for the next THREE YEARS in animal tests. This is our best chance to stop it. Read below to take action or unsubscribe.
Dear Taxpayer,
Remember UC Davis? Remember Fauci’s kitten experiments? Remember Marigold?
I’d like to remind you of her story, why it’s relevant tonight, and why it’s especially urgent before 11:59 pm.
Earlier this year, my team uncovered how Dr. Fauci’s NIH paid the Univ. of California, Davis, to abuse kittens:
Well, thanks to your financial support, White Coat Waste launched an investigation and campaign to end it.
Taxpayer, just two days after UC Davis received our Freedom of Information Act request, the school canceled the lethal experiments.
The real prize? UC Davis also closed its entire cat breeding colony and retired all 15 felines… including Marigold.
Marigold was imprisoned there for nearly thirteen years. Now, I’ve adopted her.
And thanks to you, we just celebrated her first birthday outside of the lab—full of catnip toys, Cat TV, and lots of treats!
Taxpayer, here’s the REALLY important part: tonight, you have an opportunity to do the exact same thing for 15 felines at a very similar NIH-funded cat colony in Missouri.
See below.
In less than one hour, an NIH-funded university in Missouri plans to imprison 15 more innocent felines. If we fail, the cats will be locked up for the next THREE YEARS!
Marigold’s story proves that we know how to win this kind of campaign.
If we saved 15 cats in Marigold’s colony, then we can do it again for 15 more felines in Missouri tonight.
But Taxpayer, Marigold’s winning campaign took resources: i.e., money.
And right now, our fundraising just isn’t where it needs to be.
Tonight’s a very big deadline. See below. It’s our best chance.
Will you help?

P.S. Taxpayer, please know this: Marigold’s story is more important than you realize. UC Davis’s colony supplied kittens for the federal government’s worst experiments. Think: NIH’s electro-shock tests at UC Irvine, the Smithsonian, and even the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
So, you didn’t just save Marigold. You didn’t just shut down her lab. And you didn’t just save her 15 friends. You made history. Tonight, let’s do it again for 15 more Marigolds in Missouri. Taxpayer, say their names:
Mike (govt ID #608.367.358)
Chris Adams (govt ID #C21-14)
Bernardo (govt ID #C21-18)
Welsey (govt ID #608.366.292)
Milo (govt ID #606.278.297)
These five felines are trapped in an animal testing colony. White Coat Waste investigators just filed a state records request to obtain their names.
Kailey’s email has all the details below. And I’m fighting to free them!
I’m also reaching out because—in just a few hours—an NIH-funded school in Missouri plans to abuse these sweet boys (plus ten more cats) in its blood testing laboratory.
Taxpayer, these cats will be imprisoned for the next THREE YEARS!
Sadly, campaigns to save cats aren’t as popular as dogs—so our fundraising is relatively poor.
I know YOU care about lab kittens, Taxpayer. But our investigations depend on grassroots fundraising. Over 80% of our revenue comes from $20 gifts.

Sadly, we can only expose and close as many labs as we can afford. And the deadline to fully fund our rapid response campaign is in 4 HOURS.

Look at them, Taxpayer.
In less than 24 hours, an NIH-funded university in Missouri is planning to abuse 15 live cats in a blood testing laboratory.
This greedy university will imprison 15 innocent felines for the next THREE YEARS!
I’m sorry to alarm you. But this is a big deadline. The school is about to formally review the lab’s protocol, so we need to move FAST.
Taxpayer, this is a VERY BAD lab.
In fact, it’s the same school where beagles are eaten alive by ticks with no anesthesia or pain relief at all.
The cats may suffer anemia, hypovolemia, or worse…
We just uncovered actual lab documents and found this haunting disclaimer: cats may be KILLED if deemed “medically necessary.”
In LESS THAN 24 HOURS, this abuse could be reinforced.
Last time you stepped up, White Coat Waste investigators closed a lethal kitten lab on another NIH-funded campus at UC Davis.
We shut down that breeding colony—and we retired 15 lab cats (just like these imprisoned felines).

Taxpayer, we know how to win this type of cat campaign!
But we’re NOT budgeted for this effort. We can't succeed without your help.
