Dear Friend,

If you were looking for the right time to make a gift to The Trevor Project, it’s right now.

We learned from our 2024 National Survey that 90% of LGBTQ+ young people expressed how their well-being was negatively impacted by recent politics. After analyzing the full day of post-election conversations across our Crisis Services team, we saw an overall volume increase of over 700% on November 6, compared to weeks prior. Election-related content in conversations has increased by nearly 5,200% compared to averages leading up to election day.

This is the largest surge in daily contact volume for The Trevor Project’s classic crisis services since we began providing 24/7 services in 2019. This is a crisis.

The Trevor Project has always been here to support LGBTQ+ youth in their toughest moments. To continue to be here for them, we’re counting on support from all of our community members. We’re counting on you.

Friend, I know you care about the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ young people. Will you be the one supportive ally to make a generous and compassionate gift today?

It’s crucial that our free, secure, 24/7 Crisis Services be available to them when they reach out to us via lifeline, chat, or text. And our suicide prevention programs — our education, advocacy, and research — are needed now more than ever.

Friend, now is the time. Please partner with us today — make a gift to help protect and support LGBTQ+ young people during this critical time.

The LGBTQ+ youth are counting on us and we’re counting on you to be the one supportive adult to help save young LGBTQ+ lives.

For LGBTQ+ young people,
