Katie Britt calls out Biden administration after Bitcoin surge, urges new SEC
Chair

<[link removed]>

U.S. Senator Katie Britt is critiquing the Biden-Harris Administration for its
restrictive policies relating to the digital currency, Bitcoin.

The policies under fire relate to crypto regulation and in particular
Operation Chokepoint 2.0. According to Forbes, Barack Obama began the process
of working to restrict access to financial services for businesses deemed
“high-risk.” After President Biden took over, the operation expanded to include
a significant crackdown on the crypto industry, including on Bitcoin. At the
President’s direction, the Securities Exchange Commission has since “pursued
case-by-case enforcement actions against major crypto firms.”

Britt, who accepted Bitcoin in her campaign effort, called the rise in value
“another clear repudiation of the Biden Administration’s policies” and
explained the significance of Bitcoin.

Katie Britt says Lara Trump ‘would be a tremendous pick’ to fill Marco Rubio’s
U.S. Senate seat

<[link removed]>

As the cabinet of President-Elect Donald Trump begins to take shape, U.S.
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) is expected to become the next U.S. Secretary of
State. Upon accepting the position and confirmation, Rubio will vacate his seat
in the Senate allowing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis the opportunity to fill it
with a handpicked successor.

One name now being floated to take over the Senate seat is Lara Trump, the
President-elect’s daughter-in-law.

The possibility of Trump being given the role is picking up support from
conservative lawmakers in Washington, including U.S. Senator Katie Britt.

other schools on notice that the incoming GOP congressional majority plans to

rising anti-Semitism at universities was not "acceptable" and that she and her
colleagues would not "stand by and allow this to happen."

"I want to make clear to each and every Jewish student on an American campus:
I and my colleagues won’t stand for this. While your administrators may not
have your backs, we do," Britt said.

Sen. Katie Britt second-most conservative opponent of Biden judicial nominees

<[link removed]>

U.S. Senator Katie Britt ranks second among all 100 Senators when it comes to
their frequency of opposing President Joe Biden’s judicial nominees.

President Donald Trump over the weekend urged Senate Republicans to fight
outgoing Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s push to rush through more of
Biden’s nominees in the lame duck period that runs through the start of the
119th Congress in January.

“[N]o Judges should be approved during this period of time because the
Democrats are looking to ram through their Judges as the Republicans fight over
Leadership. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THANK YOU!” Trump wrote.
