RESTORING FULL SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS TO TEACHERS, POLICE OFFICERS, AND FIREFIGHTERS
This week, I voted for the Social Security Fairness Act to repeal outdated rules that have long prevented Iowa’s teachers, police officers, firefighters, and other public servants from receiving the full Social Security benefits that they worked so hard for and deserve.
I will always protect Social Security and Medicare for our seniors!

WE NEED A BALANCED BUDGET!
According to the U.S. Government Accountability Office, our federal agencies have mishandled nearly $2.7 trillion through improper payments since 2003. 2023 accounts for about $236 billion alone!
This is unacceptable.
We need a balanced budget and fiscal responsibility in Washington, D.C.!

On this year’s 36 County Tour and Feenstra Ag Tour in Boone County, I hosted our House Agriculture Committee Chairman — Rep. G.T. Thompson — at the Farm Progress Show and toured the EDGE program at Boone Community High School.
Since 2021, I have made over 320 total stops across Iowa's Fourth District!

ONE LAST THING: MEETING IOWA'S VERY OWN NATIONAL CIVICS BEE FINALIST
On Thursday, I welcomed Michael O’Mara — a 7th grader from Moville — and his family to the U.S. Capitol.
Michael just won second place at the National Civics Bee and $25,000.
He told me that, one day, he wants to be a Congressman! I have no doubt that he would make a great one!

On November 5th, the American people elected President Trump and Republican majorities in both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives to deliver conservative victories for our country and put America first.
