Governor-elect Mike Braun has unveiled key issue areas and leadership teams that will be part of the transition process. These councils are chaired by experts and are comprised of experienced members that will help Governor-elect Braun lead the charge in 2025.

• Key Issues
  • Agencies or policy areas of focus include Management and Budget, Business Affairs, Commerce, Energy and Natural Resources, Health and Family services, Public Safety, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Education.

• Government Efficiency and Management
  • Throughout his campaign, Mike Braun focused on ensuring Indiana's government is efficient and does not waste Hoosier tax dollars. This will be a focus for the transition council on Government Efficiency and Management, similar to the federal Department of Government Efficiency. 

• Executive-to-Executive Relationships
  • Mike Braun has also made it a top priority that local governments have an explicit seat at the table and have the opportunity to share their perspective. That is why he has made sure from the get-go they are part of the team and able to do exactly that.
