Another day, another outlandish and potentially catastrophic pick for a critical
role in Donald Trump’s administration.

Wednesday it was Matt Gaetz for Attorney General (among others).

Yesterday it was Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and
Human Services.

Aside from his ancestry, RFK Jr. is famous — or, more accurately, infamous — for
being an anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist despite overwhelming scientific
evidence that his “skepticism” is as wrong as it is dangerous.

Numerous members of his own renowned family have denounced his candidacy for
president and his toxic, crackpot ideas.

But here we are.

The Senate will begin voting on whether or not to confirm RFK Jr. and Trump’s
other cabinet picks very soon after Trump is sworn in on January 20, 2025.

We have a real chance of blocking RFK Jr.’s appointment, but only if we start
fighting it now and stay on top of it.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a science-denying, morally-bankrupt conspiracy theorist
who will endanger millions of lives if placed in a position of authority over
public health. He shouldn’t be allowed in the building, let alone be placed in
charge of the Department of Health and Human Services. Donald Trump’s bungling
of health policy during the COVID pandemic cost hundreds of thousands of lives.
By picking Kennedy to run HHS, Trump is risking another public health
catastrophe. You must reject Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and
Human Services. [[link removed]]
