John,

It’s been a challenging week or so since the November 5th election. If you’re feeling sad, anxious, scared, or frustrated by these results – you’re not alone.

But I’m here to tell you that there is a path forward. The American people have weathered many storms over our history, and we’ll do so again.

I’m ready to work across the aisle on the issues that matter to Georgians. From my very first day in Congress, I’ve been committed to passing common-sense policies that improve the lives of my constituents. I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

We’ll continue to fight for communities to be safe from gun violence. For healthcare to be affordable for working Americans. For protecting the right to vote for future generations. The work continues.

It’s more important than ever that all of us stay engaged in our democracy and in our communities. Get involved in your local organizations and movements, talk to your neighbors, sign petitions, donate to important causes, and keep fighting for a better America.

Together, we will persevere and bring about the change we need.
