Friends,
I hope you and your family are well! I wanted to provide you with a few updates regarding what’s going on –
Moving Forward with a Republican Trifecta
The American people sent a mandate by giving Republicans control of the White House, Senate, and House of Representatives, and it's time for the government to go to work for the people with an America First agenda.
It's time to secure the border, lower inflation, stop over-regulating small businesses, unleash American energy, and provide more opportunities for all Americans.
Biden-Harris over-regulations are on pace to add $47,000 in net present value regulatory costs per household from rules finalized during its first term.
The Trump Administration cut regulations and saved families money in its first term and is preparing to cut regulations during its 2nd term to bring costs down for the American people.
My latest op-ed in the Washington Times details how President-elect Trump’s nuclear strategy could transform the United States nuclear waste challenge into a triumph of innovation and global leadership.
I was also on NewsMax this week discussing President Trump's cabinet appointments, and I look forward to supporting the America First agenda in any way I can.
Legacy Videos
To try to encapsulate my 14 years in Washington, D.C., representing South Carolina’s Third District, my team put together a series of interviews highlighting key moments and memories of my time in office.
Episode 1 – I came to Washington, D.C. in 2010 to fight for limited government, to secure our freedoms, and to fight for a brighter future for our children.
Episode 2 – As the Clemson Congressman on Capitol Hill, I was honored to host the 2016 and 2018 Clemson national champion football teams in Washington, D.C.
Episode 3 – Opportunity is the American dream, and we can never take that for granted.
Episode 4 – The 2011 debt ceiling vote was a defining moment for my time in Congress. As a group of my colleagues and I met in the Member's chapel for prayer, we got wisdom from the Word.
More episodes will be coming next week.
