No question about it: the election did not go the way any of us had hoped.

We put everything we had into this election, knocked on millions of doors, and trained tens of thousands of volunteers -- but ultimately came up short. This is a moment to learn, reflect, and rebuild. But it’s no time to sit back. As Vice President Harris said, we can’t throw up our hands, we have to roll up our sleeves. We cannot take a break. This work is more important than ever.

Now, we have to pivot to an ask -- an important one.

If you understand the importance of a strong Democratic Party -- especially in this moment -- then we are asking you to contribute to the Democratic National Committee today.

But before we share a link, you deserve to know that we will use your donation to strengthen our state and local Democratic parties that are tapped out after a tough election. We will use it to ensure we do not lose the organizing and tech infrastructure we’ve built up all across the country. We will use it to organize against destructive legislation and executive orders. And we will use it to put ourselves in a position to win local and statewide races next year, take back Congress in the next election, and the White House in 2028.

We won't ask as often as we did before the election, but we do hope you can contribute in response to this request, especially before the new Congress and president are sworn in.
