Just over a week ago, Sarah won her election to represent Delaware in the
United States House of Representatives!
Thanks to your incredible support, she made history as the first out
transgender member of Congress. Now, she’s
down in Washington, rolling up her sleeves and diving into the details at
New Member Orientation.
As we celebrate Sarah’s victory, we also know we’re facing challenges
ahead. We lost the presidential election, and we have a long fight to
defend our values, protect our democracy, and work with anyone willing to
make life better for communities across the country.
Sarah is ready to make a
difference — no matter who is in office. While she’s in D.C., gearing up

and family leave, raising wages for workers, and making health care and
child care more accessible.
