Tammy Faye Producer’s Picks Palace Theatre See top-notch theater and feel good about helping others! Producer’s Picks tickets are donated by the producers so your entire ticket purchase goes to support the Entertainment Community Fund’s programs and services. It’s the 1970s and American homes now have a brand-new feature: cable programming. As satellites beam television into living rooms across the country, a star is born. It’s the magnetic Tammy Faye Bakker, wife of traveling preacher Jim Bakker, who captivates millions and brings a whole new sparkle to faith! Leading the congregation is two-time Olivier Award winner Katie Brayben (Beautiful), alongside Tony Award winners Christian Borle (Something Rotten) and Michael Cerveris (Fun Home). Featuring an electrifying score by the one and only Elton John, with lyrics by Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, a book by Olivier Award-winning playwright James Graham, and directed by Olivier Award winner Rupert Goold, Tammy Faye shines a sparkling light on the generous, loving, often lonely soul behind the illustrious lashes.
