World BEYOND War is a unique anti-war, pro-peace organization, because we’re not just focused on one war or one strategy for ending it. Instead, WBW was founded on the grounds of being against all wars and implementing a surround-sound holistic program that will end war once and for all.

As many of you know, we have educational programs and online courses, webinars, conferences, and podcasts, but we also have a robust network of activists and organizers on the ground organizing direct actions around the world.

Frankly, we don’t talk about or brag enough about the real impact these actions are having because we’re too busy planning, coordinating with allies and aligned organizations and activists, and being on the streets,

blocking entrances to weapons manufacturers,
organizing for peace in Palestine in front of the U.S. Embassy in Bogota, Colombia,
working with young people in Cameroon to stop the proliferation of weapons,
pressuring the U.S. Congress to end countless wars it wages and supports,
holding rallies across Canada pushing for an Israeli arms embargo,
unveiling the impact war has on climate through a week of global actions,
supporting a walk from Maine to Washington with veterans to unwelcome NATO,
organizing weekly peace vigils at Shannon airport to highlight Ireland’s complicity in the Gaza genocide,
and so many more activities across the world.

Just this week, we're planning a day of actions to interrupt the supply chain for the F-35, the world’s most devastating warplane.

We know that it will require a combination of our programs in order to stop the war machine. But it is our direct nonviolent actions that shed a lot of light on systemic violence across the world. These actions are opportunities to bring people together to build solidarity in order to transform not only their communities, but eventually the global reliance on war and violence.

We need your help to make sure we can continue to take the bold actions like these that push the antiwar movement forward in those key moments where new things are possible.

Actions like these take organizers. They take ongoing skill-building and training with local activists. They take connecting with legal resources, media strategizing, and building our own power so we can take on powerful institutions, be they government, military, or weapons manufacturers.
