The election of Donald Trump comes as a sobering blow to those of us fighting for reproductive rights, racial justice, and bodily autonomy.

We stand with you in your grief, rage, and disappointment. If you are exhausted from this loss, know that we understand. Please take the time you need to be in community with those who bring you peace and comfort.

But make no mistake: Advocates for Youth is no stranger to setbacks. This loss has only reaffirmed our commitment to mobilizing against misinformation and extremism in all its forms. We will never stop fighting for your ability to make informed decisions about your body and your future unobstructed by political extremism or judicial activism – no matter who occupies the White House.

• If you are committed to protecting abortion, join YouthASC, a national youth network building practical support for abortion.
• If you want to expand access to contraception in your community, join our Condom Collective or the Emergency Contraception Access Network (ECAN) to make sure every student on your campus has the sexual health resources they need. Applications opening soon, stay updated.
  
• If you are passionate about HIV advocacy, become a National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NYHAAD) Ambassador to share your story and speak out for prevention, treatment, and destigmatization. Applications opening soon, stay updated.

Finally, if you want to invest in your own growth as an activist, take advantage of the resources, action items, and trainings we share with our Youth Activist Network. We provide activists with mentoring, training, funds, and resources to fight for reproductive rights in their community.
