Police uncover illegal tobacco products at Evesham grocers

Authorities discovered a stash of illicit tobacco products worth £145,000 concealed in a storeroom. The operation, conducted by West Mercia Police in collaboration with trading standards officers, followed reports from the public. Alongside the tobacco, a small number of unauthorised vaping devices were also confiscated.

Officials emphasised the link between such illegal goods and organised crime, stressing their commitment to preventing these items from reaching the market. Police are continuing investigations.
