Here’s what Brad told the New York Times:

John,

We know you’re probably still reeling from last week’s devastating election results. We are too.

But in the aftermath, one thing New Yorkers shouldn’t have to worry about right now? Whether our own mayor will personally benefit from a second Trump presidency.

Here’s what Brad told the New York Times:

“If Eric Adams wants New Yorkers to believe he is putting their interests ahead of his own, he should announce today that he will not seek or accept a pardon from Donald Trump.”

Look, like all New Yorkers, Mayor Adams deserves due process, the presumption of innocence, and his day in court.

But New Yorkers deserve a Mayor who is fully focused on running the city, not his own indictments. After all, Trump will be busy doing plenty of that himself.

John, we aren’t getting the reliable, transparent leadership we deserve.

Brad Lander is running for Mayor to change that.

Can you help Brad build a broad-coalition, well-funded Mayoral campaign by kicking in a few bucks? Remember, contributions from NYC residents are matched by the City’s matching funds program 8:1.
