NATIONAL DSA CALL TONIGHT
It's time to organize for a second Trump presidency in 2025. CHAPTER ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Steering Committee Officer Nominations Are Open! The nomination window for our chapter officer elections is open. If you are interested in running the day to day operations of our chapter, or know of someone in the chapter who would make a great leader, nominate them or yourself today! The Steering Committee consists of nine positions: 2 Co-Chairs, 1 Secretary, 1 Comms Director, 1 Treasurer, and 4 Organizers. Click here to make a nomination for the 2025 Steering Committee.
- The Sacramento DSA Local Convention will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23rd at 2pm, at Arden-Dimick Library and on Zoom. We will be electing our next steering committee and voting on important chapter bylaws and priorities. RSVP here. Click here to submit a convention resolution.
- We will be electing a DSA member to the board of the Marxist School of Sacramento, per an agreement between our 2 organizations. We ask that applications be submitted before our Socialist Education Committee's Dec. 4th meeting (the first Wednesday of December). The application consists of a written statement about yourself and why you would like to get involved. The Marxist School board will meet on Jan 23rd, 2025. DSA MEETINGS & EVENTS:
- Trans Rights and Bodily Autonomy Committee Meeting: Monday, Nov. 18th at 5:30pm on Zoom (Zoom link here). The mission of the Trans Rights and Bodily Autonomy Committee is to build solidarity across the gender, racial, and socioeconomic divisions of Sacramento while challenging instead of reifying those divisions; develop a praxis informed by those most impacted to fight for collective liberation; and collaborate with other affinity groups, committees, and organizations to coordinate actions that challenge the existing power structures and fight for the bodily autonomy of all people.
- Mutual Aid Monday: Monday, Nov. 25th at 5:30pm. Location: Corner of 10th & I st. at Cesar Chavez Plaza, Sacramento, CA. Join the Mutual Aid Committee for our next meal & supply distribution! Come find out what we're all about and how you can get involved. We have a variety of ways for you to help out in person. Donations and volunteers are always needed. Email us if you have any questions or would like help coordinating a donation. We look forward to seeing you out there!

- The Sacramento Regional Coalition for Palestinian Rights has a listing of many upcoming pro-Palestinian actions and events on their website. Sacramento DSA is proud to be a longtime member organization standing in solidarity with Palestinians against Israel's ongoing US-supported genocide.
