Faith, Family, and Freedom
Win Big Across the State!

Texas had a historically good night Tuesday, Nov. 5 with victories for faith, family, and freedom up and down the ballot! Voters in historically blue counties showed up to vote for President Trump in record numbers, shifting multiple counties “red” in the presidential race! Not to mention, President Trump (an endorsed Texas Values Action candidate in the Primary and General Election) won all seven swing states and the national popular vote! Our “win” rate for Texas Values endorsed candidates (including some local election endorsement) this November was 86%!!!

STATEWIDE VICTORIES!

In Texas, President Trump won 242 out of the 254 counties in Texas! This is a major increase from both his 2016 and 2020 races! In 2020, Trump only won 234 counties, and in 2016, he won 227, making his margin of victory in 2024 significant!

After the election, even 60 Minutes is talking about the impact of some of our key issues (Save Womens Sports/Protecting Kids from Gender Transition procedures) in their post-election analysis referred to as so-called “transgender rights”! Over the weekend, 60 Minutes discussed how the Trump campaign spent millions of dollars warning the American people about Kamala Harris' radical policies fueled by gender ideology. While many on the left are doubling down on their support for these issues, the election results show that Texas and the rest of the country are not on board! If you were watching television in Texas over the past 2-3 weeks you most likely saw similar ads run by Senator Ted Cruz, exposing Colin Allred’s extreme and liberal positions on these issues.

President Trump was even successful in South Texas flipping Starr County, Texas, “red” – something that hasn't been done since 1892! Newsweek called Starr "the most Hispanic county in the country," making this even more unprecedented!

Not to mention, Senator Ted Cruz also surpassed expectations, beating Colin Allred by over 8% this year. During his last race against Beto O'Rourke, Senator Cruz narrowly won with only 50.9% of the vote, making this a huge increase in support!

But that's not all; there were multiple demographic shifts in Texas during this cycle. Historically, the younger vote is more liberal, but this year in Texas, the 18 to 29-year-old demographic was split 49% to 49% between President Trump and Vice President Harris, according to exit polls by NBC News. Secondly, Trump won the majority (55%) of Hispanic voters in Texas, which leads many to believe this shift will continue to grow!

STATE LEGISLATIVE VICTORIES!

In the Texas Legislature, Republicans picked up two new seats in the Texas House; Don McLaughlin in House District 80 and Denise Villalobos in House District 34! This means that Republicans will now hold 88 seats in the Texas State House, which will play a role in picking the Speaker of the House for the upcoming legislative session in January. Not to mention, Texas Values Action endorsed candidate Adam Hinojosa beat Democrat State Senator Morgan LaMantia, who scored an 'F' on the Texas Values Action Faith and Family Scorecard!

OUR MESSAGE IS WINNING!

It's clear that Texas voters have strong beliefs when it comes to current Christian and common sense values issues. A stark contrast was drawn between Senator Ted Cruz, who wants to protect women's sports, and Colin Allred, who thinks it's okay for men to compete in women's sports, and the election results show this!

We are grateful to both Former President Trump, Senator Ted Cruz, and their entire campaign teams for not backing down and continuing to fight for girls and women's sports, locker rooms, and sex-separated facilities! Both campaigns ran hard-hitting and effective ads warning Americans and Texans that Kamala Harris and Colin Allred support men competing in Women's sports and other policies driven by radical gender ideology!

In Texas, Democrat Party of Texas Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa resigned following the Democratic Party's embarrassing defeat in the state after pushing radical policies that Texans do not want!

Trump and Cruz's victories, on the other hand, make it even more evident that protecting faith, family, and freedom was on the ballot this November, and not only did we win, but we increased our margins of victory! Texans made their voices heard on Tuesday, and it's clear that Texans want to preserve and protect faith, family, and freedom!

Deadline is Tomorrow for SBOE Testimony!

This month, the Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) will vote to approve instructional materials that reference the Bible. Many from the “Left” who do not believe in religious liberty are attacking these materials that are protected by the First Amendment. We need as many parents, pastors, and concerned citizens to show up and testify at the SBOE meeting NEXT Monday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m.

Registration for testimony closes TOMORROW, Friday, Nov. 15, at 5 p.m.

Email SBOE members at [email protected]

What does the law tell us? What are the advantages or disadvantages of permitting and incentivizing these materials to be taught in the classroom?
