Checking in,

Day 1 of our annual Flash Match is winding down, and we’re already seeing a huge outpouring of support! Have you made a 2X matched gift yet? Donate now to make twice the impact for Special Olympics athletes!

GET THE MATCH!

Gilmour, the Special Olympics athlete you see pictured below, used to feel “invisible.” A young person with intellectual disabilities (ID), he struggled with bullying, isolation, and coaches who didn’t understand him.

All of that changed when he found his first Special Olympics team 10 years ago. Gilmour had the chance to become a talented, multi-sport athlete who’s competed at the national level. He made wonderful friendships that continue to this day. And he has championed other folks with ID for years as a Special Olympics Athlete Leader, Health Messenger, and most recently, Global Messenger and Public Spokesperson.

Until midnight tomorrow, your gift is DOUBLED
2X Flash Match

There are millions of people like Gilmour who have found belonging, joy, a sense of achievement, and yes, purpose through the unique power of sports and the Special Olympics community.

But we’re running this Flash Match because for every person who we’ve helped, there are 13 people with ID who haven’t gotten in the game yet. We can give them these same chances, but we have to act quickly:

Until midnight tomorrow, our Founding Partner, The Coca-Cola Company, will match your donation dollar-for-dollar! Don’t wait to change an athlete’s life:

DOUBLE MY IMPACT

Thanks for stepping up,

The Special Olympics Team

Your 2X donation transforms lives.
