Last month, I was honored to receive the Friend of Farm Bureau Award from the Georgia Farm Bureau.

I will always be a strong voice in Congress for our farmers and producers — I know how critical the agriculture industry is to our country. It contributes over one trillion dollars to the U.S. economy, $80 billion of which is in Georgia alone.

Whether through the Farm Bill or the annual appropriations process, I’m committed to ensuring that Congress provides the programs and resources needed to ensure Americans continue to have the safest, most affordable, and most abundant food and fiber available to them.

As a member of the House Appropriations Committee and House Agriculture Committee, I will continue working with both sides of the aisle to craft legislation and support funding for programs that are vital to the wellbeing of our farmers.
