Our community needs you
now more than ever

This year, supporters like you have helped Families in Transition provide safe and stable housing for 168 households. But our hard, necessary work doesn't end there. As we face an increased demand for our services, your continued generosity is paramount to sustaining and expanding our shared community impact.

Below are three ways you can continue to support our mission to prevent and break the cycle of homelessness this holiday season.

Contribute to the Annual Breakfast

For 31 years, Manchester's business and civic leaders have come together the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to help raise critical funds to support our mission.

Tuesday, November 26th, in Downtown Manchester, we will welcome our community to our largest annual fundraising event. Last year, because of supporters like you, we raised a record amount of $270,000 to provide comprehensive services and resources to individuals and families in need. With your support, we hope to have another record-breaking year.

Thank you to our Premier Event Sponsor, Cogswell Benevolent Trust, for their long-time partnership and continued support of this event!

'Tis the season for smart giving

"We know that, in part, our good fortune today comes from help we received from others along the way. By supporting Families in Transition, we hope that our contributions will help parents in their efforts to assure that their children can grow and flourish."  - Ginny Theo-Steelman and David Steelman, Manchester, NH

Increasingly, generous donors like you are choosing simple, tax-smart ways to give high-impact gifts.

Here are ways you can be generous and tax-savvy at the same time:

  • Consider a gift of stock
  • Give from donor-advised funds
  • Make a qualified charitable donation from a retirement account

Change someone’s life today by breaking the cycle of homelessness.

Help us meet the highest needs during the holidays

Imagine entering a shelter or moving into a new home with nothing but the clothes on your back. That is the reality for many individuals and families who come to us for support.

By donating high need items, you will help us welcome families home, provide individuals with daily essentials, and give piece of mind to those struggling to meet their most basic needs.

Drop-offs and deliveries can be made to our Food Pantry at 176 Lake Ave, Manchester, NH.
