Hundred Club of Kankakee Annual Dinner
I had the pleasure of once again attending the Hundred Club of
Kankakee County's annual dinner! This is a wonderful yearly event that
supports the Hundred Club of Kankakee County and celebrates its work
in the community.



Monee Blood Drive
It was an honor to host a blood drive in Monee with the American
Red Cross! Donating blood saves lives and I am grateful to our
community for showing up to help others.


Kankakee Firefighter Memorial
It was an honor to participate in the Kankakee Firefighter Memorial
ceremony once again this year, as we remembered our fallen heroes.
Thank you to the brave men and women who keep our community safe!



Illinois Makers on the Move tour stop
I had the pleasure of attending the Illinois Manufacturers'.
Association's Illinois Makers on the Move tour stop at CSL Behring! It
was an honor to speak and recognize CSL Behring, and other
manufacturers in the 79th District, for their contributions to our
local community.



Recognizing Jim Rowe
It was an honor to recognize Kankakee County's State Attorney Jim
Rowe for his work to keep our community safer by keeping domestic
violence offenders off our streets while supporting the survivors of
these atrocious crimes.
I look forward to continuing my work alongside his office to reduce
rates of domestic violence in our community!

The State of the County Address
I attended the State of the County Address for Kankakee County at
Olivet Nazarene University. This was a great, informative event that
updated us on the happenings around the county, as well as future
plans for Kankakee County! Thanks to all for the great work!


Pastor's Appreciation Brunch
I had the pleasure of being invited to attend the Kankakee County
State's Attorney Pastor's Appreciation Brunch! This was a great
celebration honoring our local pastors for all they do for our
community, and also a great opportunity to hear from some outstanding
speakers.


Downtown Kankakee Trunk or Treat
I had the opportunity to participate in the downtown Kankakee Trunk
or Treat! It was such a beautiful day to pass out candy and speak with
constituents at this fun event. Thank you to the Rotary Club of
Kankakee and everyone who helped to coordinate this great event!

Options CIL 35th Luncheon
My staff and I attended the Options CIL 35th Annual Luncheon! This
was a great celebration of Options' mission to create an independent
community for individuals with disabilities.

Bradley Trunk or Treat Event
I had a great time at the Trunk or Treat event in Bradley! It was
so fun to see all of the great costumes. Thanks to everyone who came
out for a safe and fun night celebrating Halloween!


Harbor House Candlelight Vigil
My staff and I had the pleasure of attending the Harbor House
Candlelight Vigil for survivors of domestic violence. I want to thank
Harbor House for all of the important work they do to help those who
currently or previously have experienced domestic violence.



NAMI Legislator Panel
I was honored to attend the annual legislator panel, hosted by
National Alliance on Mental Illnesses (NAMI) Illinois. Together we
discussed important legislation aimed at improving our mental
healthcare system in Illinois. Thank you for having me!


Voortman Steel Groundbreaking
I had the honor of attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the
new Voortman Steel manufacturing site in Monee. We are all so thrilled
that Voortman is bringing economic development to the region and
choosing Monee as the site for its new U.S. headquarters!
