Giving Tuesday: Textbooks for Methodist Schools in Mozambique
We're excited to announce our Giving Tuesday focus for 2024: Textbooks for Gileteni Methodist School. The staff at Gileteni in Inhambane, Mozambique, is in desperate need of textbooks for the 1,450 students at their school. Most of their textbooks are over 15 years old. The school dreams of providing books in English, French and Portuguese for their students ages 12-18. Giving Tuesday funds will help equip the school library with maps, textbooks, dictionaries and more. A $10 donation provides textbooks for one student, and every gift brings us one step closer to filling these classrooms with current, comprehensive textbooks.
