I'm writing to invite you to get back to science at my upcoming town hall focused on weather forecasting and preparedness on Thursday, November 21, at 7:00 PM CT in Bolingbrook. This is the second in a series of science-themed town halls I'm holding throughout the 11th District.

We'll be joined by experts from the National Weather Service—a federal agency charged with forecasting the weather to keep people safe—to discuss how scientific research is helping keep our communities safe from severe weather and what you can do to be ready.
