JOHN,

Obviously, this election did not go the way we wanted. Donald Trump will be
the president and we can now say with confidence that he will have a GOP
majority in both the Senate and the House. This is a devastating result for
everyone who fought so hard to defeat him, his extremism, and his hate for the
past several years.

And now that his cabinet and other leadership choices are beginning to come
out, including adding people like Stephen Miller, Marco Rubio, and Kash Patel
to the White House team, we have even more reason to believe that we will be in
for a very long and scary four years.

But we cannot give up, JOHN. In fact, now we know we need to get to work. We
will have a chance to strike back at Trump and his sycophants in 2026 – and
Lauren Boebert will be especially vulnerable. In an election that swung so hard
in Trump’s direction, Boebert badly underperformed expectations here in CD-04.
And we know how voters reacted last time after two years of Boebert’s
non-leadership. But this time, we will be ready –and we won’t fall a few
hundred votes short.

We will redouble our efforts to defeat her, but we also hope to expand our
assistance to other flippable races around the country. We can only do that if
we get right back to rebuilding a strong movement right away.
