Dear John,
This 2024 election cycle, Ruth’s List Florida endorsed and supported 74 pro-choice women on the ballot, with 46 winning their races either outright in August or in November. We focused on recruiting quality candidates and training them every step of the way to get them over the finish line. We are excited that 46 of our endorsed 2024 candidates will be fighting for us in state and local government in Florida.
Every pro-choice woman who stood up, place her name on the ballot, and fought for her community should be commended. To all the women who ran strong campaigns this year, thank you.

At Ruth’s List Florida, we go into an election year knowing we will not win everything, and that is ok. That is not the goal. We must continue to hold the extreme Republicans accountable at every step of the way, at all levels of government. We are going to continue to focus on recruiting pro-choice women to run for office, running competitive campaigns, and giving a voice to the majority of Floridians who believe in reproductive rights.
