Thank you.

Thank you for your support. Thank you for putting up with endless (!) emails and texts. And thank you for contributing money to this campaign. It means the world to have had your support in this campaign, and I cannot thank you enough for getting involved.

When I first decided to run for political office in 2017, I immediately made the decision not to accept corporate PAC contributions. I never wanted my constituents to even wonder if I was taking the votes I did because I felt beholden to corporations who had helped get me elected. I have never regretted that decision.

My campaigns have always relied on regular people chipping in $5, $10, $25 dollars at a time – giving what they can, when they can because they believe in my work. And my race in 2022 was the most expensive congressional race in the entire country.

But running for Senate is a wildly different task than running for the House – and to be honest, I was daunted when I was told how much we would have to raise to be competitive statewide in a place like Michigan.

So we put out the call for help, and I was stunned by the response. More than 300,000 people made donations to our campaign over the course of this cycle – everyday people showing up and doing what they can to impact change.

Those donations helped us make critical, early investment decisions that shaped our campaign – and they are what powered us over the finish line.

FNAME, we truly could not have run this campaign without you. I am truly humbled by the number of people who have literally invested in me and in this campaign, and I hope you know that you share a part in what we have accomplished.

With gratitude,

Elissa
