Friends,
Like most, if not all, of you, I have been struggling since election day. Having poured so much of myself into politics since 2021, it seems inconceivable that we are where we are today. The threats to our nation’s children have grown exponentially. I can honestly tell you that I feel a bit overwhelmed and unsure of where to go from here. But, as a mom and a pediatrician, I have no choice but to find a way to maintain hope and optimism. And I am determined to find a way to do that.
What I am not certain of, is how best to use the platform I have built through my campaign for Congress and through the formation of Their Future. Our Vote. and Their Future PAC to protect America’s children in the coming months and years. And I want to hear your thoughts. Not in a clickbait, rush us $5 way, but in a genuine, we are all in this together kind of way.
Those of you who have been around since the beginning of my campaign know that I have always been in this for the kids. I never intended to pivot into politics. But I felt called to do this work and I believe that this work has never been more critical than it is at this very moment. Hours of introspection over the past week have steered me towards dedicating my time to shining a big bright light on everything the Trump administration does that harms kids. The list will be long, but I think I am up to the task.
I believe that if more voters understand what a grave threat this administration will be to the health and well-being of our children, we have a chance to change some hearts and minds before the next election. I just hope we aren’t too late.
You know me and you know I am up to the fight. I hope you will stick with me.
Please email us at [email protected] and let us know what you think we should do to continue our fight for kids.
We will be back with more soon, after hearing from all of you.
Thanks for all of your support over the years,
Annie
