The only way we take our elections and political process back from the hands of the billionaire class and corporate lobbyists is by ending Citizens United! Will you support Bernie’s push to take on powerful special interests and get big money out of politics?
Donald Trump had billionaires like Elon Musk, Big Oil execs, and right-wing mega-donors pouring hundreds of millions to his election effort. Unfortunately, Democrats had an influx of billionaire money too — and money from big insurance, big banks, you name it.
This is a problem that can only be solved if we change the law and overturn the disastrous Supreme Court decision in Citizens United.
As Bernie said, “Democracy is not billionaires buying elections. That’s oligarchy.” The Supreme Court paved the way for this unlimited billionaire spending — Congress must end it immediately.
The people can not have true control over our elections if the billionaire class can buy our elections with massive spending to blanket the airwaves with ads and prop up the candidates of their choice.
