Senate Democrats must act now and use their power to confirm federal judges for dozens of remaining vacancies before Trump has the chance to fill them with MAGA judges who will continue to attack our fundamental freedoms.

Why is this important? Federal judges hold their positions for life. They decide on issues that impact our everyday lives—from abortion access to voting rights to common sense gun safety laws.

We need to fill these lifetime appointments with judges who will stand up to the Trump administration and defend justice, equality, and the rights of all Americans for years to come. If these dozens of vacancies remain unfilled, Trump will appoint MAGA judges loyal to him, potentially turning back decades of progress.
