Friend, I wanted to reach out and share a few thoughts.

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support throughout this election. It was a difficult election, but thanks to the efforts of supporters like you, we won this battleground race here in KS-03.

Serving our community in Congress is an honor I will never take for granted. That’s why I’ve always been willing to work with anyone to deliver real solutions to families all across Kansas — and that will never change, no matter what party is in charge in Washington.

While I am disappointed by the results of the presidential election, I respect the choice of the American people — and I commend Vice President Kamala Harris for running a positive, future-focused campaign. As our country transitions to a new administration, I promise to continue to serve the people of KS-03 with integrity, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to results.

I’ve never believed that politics should be all about stopping your opponents and nothing more. Ultimately, it’s about bringing people together, getting things done, and building a better, more prosperous future where everyone has the freedom and opportunity to get ahead. Those are the values I’m proud to fight for every day in the halls of Congress.

Serving the people of KS-03 is the honor of a lifetime, friend. And although it may feel like our country is facing an uncertain future, please know that I’m going to do everything within my power to defend our fundamental rights, stand up for our values, and continue to fight for the freedoms we hold dear.

For the next two years, I’m going to work as hard as I possibly can to offer common-sense solutions to the most pressing issues facing our communities, bring more resources and good-paying jobs to KS-03, and fight for our shared values — like protecting our health care, defending the right to choose, and so much more.

No matter what lies ahead, I am committed to putting in the work for the people of KS-03.

Finally, I wanted to say thank you one last time for all you’ve done to support this campaign. I am immensely grateful to have you by my side — because there’s a lot of hard work in front of us.

I wouldn’t be here without your support, friend. And I know that, together, we’ll be ready for whatever’s next. Let’s keep up the fight.

With gratitude,

Sharice Davids
