General.

this was to avoid the House Ethics Committee releasing a report
scheduled for this week on his alleged child sex trafficking.
* Even Republican senators were shocked by this extremist and Trump
loyalist being put in charge of our nation's law enforcement.

attempt to politicize and weaponize the Justice Department, a true mark of

Trump sycophant the power to implement a Project 2025 plan that proposes
moving the Justice Department — and all of its law enforcement arms,
including the FBI — directly under presidential control.
This would allow Trump to weaponize the Justice Department, including the
FBI, against his political opponents like a true fascist dictator.
To get his way with insane nominations like this, Trump has also proposed
reviving so-called "recess appointments." This would involve the Senate
abdicating its role in approving nominees so Trump's picks could take
office with ZERO checks and balances. He doesn't want ANY oversight or
accountability. The Senate MUST NOT allow it.
