Friend --

Jared here, TJ's Finance Director.

I have a quick update about our mid-quarter goal of raising $25,000 online before the end of the week. This is an ambitious target, but after their win in the CA-25 Special Election, we expect the Republicans to begin seriously ramping up their efforts against TJ.

Our opponent David Valadao announced that he has more cash on hand than us thanks to help from Devin Nunes, Kevin McCarthy, and their corporate PAC friends. Not to mention, we're already making national news as the last remaining tossup race in the state of California.

We need to send a strong message to Trump and David Valadao that flipping this seat in 2018 was no fluke, but was the result of hard work and dedication from this grassroots team. Unfortunately, we're not on pace to meet our goal -- we're about $12,334 short.

I'm hoping to give TJ the good news that we're back on track. Can you contribute $3 to help us meet this mark? This is such an important goal for us.

The Congressman has been doing a ton of great work lately -- from working to protect our farmworkers, to making sure small businesses have access to stimulus money. He's been effective since taking office, and we can't let Valadao erase all our progress.

I want to make sure I have some good news to give TJ, I know it will bolster his work this week.

Chip in $3 to help us re-elect TJ Cox and keep CA-21 blue in 2020.

Thanks in advance,

Jared Lapidus
Finance Director
