Dear John,

The holiday season is full of delicious foods, gatherings with friends and family, and sometimes, stress. But it’s also a time to prioritize your heart health. With a few simple steps, you can enjoy the holidays without compromising your well-being.

Heart-Healthy Tips for the Holidays:
Stay active: Take a walk after meals, play outside with family, or sign up for a holiday 5K to keep moving.
Choose healthier food options: Enjoy your holiday favorites, but make some swaps for healthier ingredients. Try to include heart-healthy dishes like roasted vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains.
Manage stress: Holiday activities can be overwhelming. If you can, schedule some time to engage in self-care. Practice mindfulness or take breaks to relax.
Moderate alcohol intake: Overindulgence can lead to higher blood pressure and weight gain. Stick to moderate drinking.

And don’t forget to stay active with the WomenHeart Charity Challenge! Use the challenge as extra motivation to keep your heart in top shape.

Join the WomenHeart Charity Challenge and stay active this holiday season!
