Friend,
I’m excited to invite you to participate in my Virtual Townhall on Education taking place tomorrow, Friday May 15 at 5:00 p.m. CST.

It would be great to hear your voice as we discuss how we can continue to support teachers and students, and make the investments that are necessary in our public education system.
Public education is the backbone of our society. We depend on our teachers to prepare young people to be our next leaders and problem solvers. That’s why, last November, I was proud to stand with thousands of teachers in Indianapolis and demand that they receive the pay that they deserve for the incredible work they do.
And, for the past 15 years, I have been incredibly involved with our schools in my capacity as an elected official. I have taken the time to connect with and read to students, supported Title I programs, and led initiatives to address student sexual violence and exploitation through the No More Secrets program.
This past week, the American Federation of Teachers Indiana threw their weight behind my campaign in recognition of my work to support schools and teachers, and I am incredibly grateful to have them in my corner.
As your Member of Congress, you can count on me to always stand with teachers, actively oppose the harmful policies of Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, protect our children, and ensure that public funds are dedicated to support public education!
Friend, you can be a part of this important conversation by joining us at tomorrow’s Virtual Townhall as we discuss how to better our public education! RSVP here for all the details!
Thanks for staying engaged with our community, friend! Together, we can support our teachers and students today to create a brighter future for tomorrow.

P.S. -- Can’t join us tomorrow? Chip in to support our campaign so I can advocate for teachers and students in Congress!
