Israel has continued to block necessary humanitarian aid from reaching millions of starving Palestinians.

Justice Democrats

John,

Last month before the election, President Biden issued a letter warning Israel that if they continued blocking desperately needed humanitarian aid from getting to millions of starving and injured Palestinians in Gaza, the U.S. would consider withdrawing military assistance.

Well, 30 days have come and gone, and human rights organizations report that the situation in Gaza has only gotten worse. Instead of allowing a minimum of 350 aid trucks into Gaza per day as demanded in the letter, the Israeli government is only letting in 33 trucks per day — nowhere near enough to stop the mass starvation of Palestinians.

When questioned about this by the press yesterday, Biden officials made excuses and said the U.S. would continue to arm Israel despite failing to comply with State Department demands. No consequences and no accountability.

Tweet from Rep. Summer Lee: Israel is blocking aid into Gaza and starving Palestinians while continuing to receive US-made weapons paid for by our tax dollars. The White House is failing to do what US law requires, and what the majority of Americans want: Stop sending weapons to Israel.

As Justice Democrats Rep. Summer Lee said, it’s time for the Biden administration to listen to the American people, follow U.S. and international law, and stop using our tax dollars to send arms to Israel. If you agree, add your name to our petition now →

There are no more excuses. As long as President Biden is in the White House, we must continue to keep up the pressure and demand he stop enabling this genocide.

In solidarity,
