John, did you see
this from the New York Times?

It’s simple: Too many Democrats didn’t state clearly enough how we would
make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, and people chose to sit
out the election as a result.
Going forward, we need to recognize that the true “swing” voter for
Democrats is not someone who usually votes for Republicans.
It’s working class voters who need to see that we are fighting for them
and challenging a rigged system that works only for the wealthiest
corporations.
If they don’t believe that, they will “swing” to the sidelines — and we’ll
keep losing to people like Donald Trump.
That’s why I believe so strongly that we need to keep pushing for policies
like Medicare for All, paid family and medical leave, raising the minimum
wage, increasing union membership, and more. Because those kinds of
policies will actually make a real, meaningful difference in people’s
lives.
But I don’t take corporate PAC money,
John — I was one of the first
members of Congress to refuse it. And that means I’m counting on your
grassroots support to sustain this movement.
[ [link removed] ]John, if
you’re with me in this fight for real progressive change, please pitch in
$3 or whatever you can to help us grow our people-powered
movement. We need your help now more than ever.
